# Dexcom Approval...FINALLY - Also, Thoughts on Tandem?

Thanks Dennis and Chris, for you responses. I just finished with my 10 day trial of the Dexcom, and found it much more helpful than the last few (both Dexcom and Libre) that I had tried years ago. Not only did I find it close to my finger stick reading, but the device itself was not painful in my arm (at least not as much). I think the biggest help was just watching the trend, and not worrying about “exactly” what my number was compared to a finger stick (and I ordered the book, “sugar surfing”). I am going to ask my endo to write me a script! Thanks again, for everyone’s support with this!
