Extreme Hypoglycemia

I had a similar conversation with my friends back in college. That day that I locked myself out of my apartment I happened to pass a friend as I was wandering the halls. At the time I just waved and went on my merry way. I saw her in class later that day and when she asked me why I was wandering the halls half dressed I explained what had happened. She told me that next time I should come find her or one of our other friends in the building and then I had to explain that if I’m lucid enough to know I need her help (let alone remember how to get to her apartment) then I probably don’t need her help. Tying back to my original post, that’s part of why I was so impressed that the OP thought to go to their roommate for help. Our “lizard brains” sometimes know what to do even when our “human brains” have already checked out. I think that’s really cool and a little reassuring.
