JDRF TypeOneNation 1st forum I have ever joined. Age 69 yrs. T1 64 years. I was first TI on both sides of my family, 4/1956. T1 became prolific in my family after my dx. Professional: Retired. Ordained. Served as a pastor, 20 yr; Family/Marital Therapist, 27 yrs. Family: Married 44 yrs. Wife is RN, retired. 2 adult daughters, neg for Type 1 in clinical trial. Four Grandsons, ages 9 - 14. None showing any signs of T1. Granddaughter, Brooklyn Rae, delivered on on my wife’s birthday, 6/30/2020. We own our 5th family dog. Rescue dog, Pixie, Yorkie-Pom. Education: Messiah University, BA, '73. Palmer Seminary, M.Div., '77. Drexel U., Hahnemann School of Allied Sciences, MFT Masters, '92. I still like to do some yard work. Feed birds…Tend 2 container gardens of herbs. Play guitar & sing. Enjoy photography. Am working on fam hx for Grandsons. Active in our local church. Belong to a fb group, Dexcom G6 & Diabetic Stuff.
