Hi. I have had type 1 diabetes for 10 years. When I was 9 I was in hospital for 10 days I had two blood transfusions and steroids when they took me off the steroids they noticed that my blood sugars were still high so I was put on insulin. 9 and a half years later I got my insulin pump. T slim. I love it makes things easier for me it’s still hard work but it’s much better than injecting every time I eat.
