T1D since 1960 (the good ol’ days, when I had to boil my glass syringe every morning to sterilize it: things are better now!). Have gone through four or five Medtronic pumps, recently switched to a Tandem. Have been in planetarium work for a career; retired in 2016. Give a presentation to a diabetes self-management class once a month (pre-COVID-19, anyway), and meet with a T1D group occasionally. Still in reasonably good health, for a 73-year-old, anyway. Enjoy life greatly! And will more so, once we can take the train into Philadelphia for the music again.
