60 years

Continuing the discussion from My 60th Diaversary!:

Wow, that’s remarkable. You’ve got to possess some special characteristics that have spared you complications after all you’ve been through. I’m nearing 50 years, but I’ve recently had some heart issues. But to have lived through primitive treatments and insulin Evolution and still be strong is Amazing. Really great stuff!

Thank you, Fergie. I always tell people that, “I’m one of the lucky ones,” because I have not always taken a good care of myself as I should have. I feel very lucky to be here, and healthy after all of these years with T1D.
