A very timely post which I used to update my grab-'n-go which thankfully I didn’t need to use last week; Ian came ashore 40 nautical miles directly south of where we live o the Gulf Coast.
One point in necessary supplies that I will strongly endorse “battery backup” especially for those who use pumps such as the Tandem. I had plenty of battery pack storage, including solar bank, but we were without electricity from late Tuesday until Sunday, just this afternoon telephpne and internet was restored.
Thanks so much for your post. You resurrected this important topic and that prompted me to go back to the initial post. One of the points mentioned was keeping a current list of all medications. A written or phone list is great, but if you have a Medic Alert account you can store the information there if you choose to, as well as emergency contacts and other info of your choosing. Hopefully the records ones will be kept up to date so the info can be found online if the notes are lost or stolen.
