My daughter and I wrote this book to bring awareness to her classmates since she just started Kindergarten. She has always felt “different” since she was diagnosed at the age of 2. This book was created from that same love and passion to help children and families better understand Type 1 diabetes, spread awareness, encourage kindness, and help kids like Bailey feel seen, understood, included, and most importantly… just like every other kid.
