Hello Everyone on BT1D,

The ONWARDS 11 clinical trial is a Novo Nordisk study evaluating the weekly insulin icodec against once-daily insulin glargine in adults with type 1 diabetes. The trial, also known as NCT07076199, is recruiting participants and is a Phase 3a study that aims to determine if a once-weekly insulin is as effective as a once-daily insulin when both are combined with mealtime insulin aspart.

  • Purpose: To compare the effectiveness of a new once-weekly insulin icodec with a standard once-daily insulin glargine in adults with type 1 diabetes.

  • Participants: Adults with type 1 diabetes who are currently using mealtime insulin aspart injections.

  • Sponsor: Novo Nordisk.

  • Trial Status: Actively recruiting.
