Joe, Dennis and I did some screen-sharing and trouble-shooting earlier this afternoon and have a list for the developers to get started on. We’d also love some general feedback about the layout. What’s the first thing you look for when you sign on? Is the “Trending” box at the top your go-to? Do you filter by Latest? What is your favorite way to keep up? Tell us what works for you.
This community is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and supportive; we want to make it the best user experience that it can be as well.

I like to read posts in chronological order, with the one with the most recent comments at the top, regardless of topic. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around “trending” order: as I write this the 3 most trending topics right now show the most recent activity about 3 weeks ago but there are no current comments. So does “trending” mean they are just bring read? Maybe I’m being selfshish but if that’s all it means I can do without it and that would save some space on the page.
Thanks for the added info–I know there are general layout issues with mobile devices but the formula for trending (without heavy traffic) is a bit of a mystery! It seems like Latest would make more sense as a sub-dashboard, if we want one.
