Blue Circle Health Support for People with T1D is Expanding

Hi all–Kristin from Breakthrough T1D Community Engagement here. You may have seen previous posts about Blue Circle Health, a a nonprofit organization offering a free virtual type 1 diabetes clinical care, education, and support program for adults ages 18+ thanks to generous funding from the Helmsley Charitable Trust.

Blue Circle Health is currently available to residents of Florida, Maine, Vermont, Ohio, Delaware, Missouri, and Alabama–with more states being added soon. (Watch this space!)

Everyone gets an individualized care plan during the program that lasts up to 6 months. They can help with:

  • Insulin adjustments
  • Carb counting
  • Insurance navigation
  • Diabetes counseling
  • Peer support
  • Diabetes technology
  • Financial support for prescriptions & supplies
  • Housing, food & employment concerns
  • Carb counting
    Again, this program is FREE thanks to generous funding from the Helmsley Charitable Trust.
